Easter programs and events in the Schladming-Dachstein ski region.
Schladming is the centre of the famous Schladming-Dachstein ski region, where several exciting events take place even as the ski season draws to a close. In Schladming, the slopes are still in excellent condition while the number of sunny hours continues to increase. Thanks to the pleasant weather, spring skiing is a real experience, and lift queues are usually shorter at this time of year. In addition to skiing, Easter-themed activities, children’s programmes and family events make the holiday period in the mountains even more special.
In the Schladming 4‑Mountain Ski Area, several Easter events are organised every year for both children and adults. One of the venues is Hauser Kaibling, where children can take part in a traditional Easter egg hunt. Around 150 eggs are hidden in the snow, and the children have to dig them out and find them all. Participation is free of charge.
