    One of the most special high-altitude tours is the King’s Tour Klafferkessel, which is a stunning plateau with more than 30 mountain lakes at an altitude of about 2,300 meters. This is a more advanced tour, but in return we get one of the most beautiful panoramas in the region.

    The Dachstein Skywalk is one of the most spectacular viewpoints in the region, located at an altitude of about 2,700 meters. Its special feature is the glass-floored platform, where literally hundreds of meters of depth open up beneath your feet.


    The program begins with the ascent: the Dachstein cable car takes you up to the glacier in a few minutes, while you can enjoy panoramic views all the way. Up there, there is not only the Skywalk, but also a 100-meter-long suspension bridge and the famous ice palace, so it can even be a full-day program.
