The Nordic Winter Opening has been held in Ramsau am Dachstein for more than 20 years and is the largest cross-country skiing event of the season in the Schladming-Dachstein region.
In 2026, it will welcome visitors from December 3 to 6.
The event is open to cross-country skiers of all levels, from beginners to professionals. Participants can try out the latest equipment from well-known brands such as Fischer, Atomic, and Rossignol free of charge. In addition, professional ski service, test opportunities, and various technical and development courses are also available.
The event offers a unique experience, as participants can ski on perfectly maintained trails at the beginning of the season.
