An Austrian mountain Christmas is exactly as atmospheric as one would imagine. Every year, Schladming’s main square is decked out in festive finery and transforms into a charming Christmas market during the Advent season. As visitors stroll among the rustic wooden huts, they are greeted by crackling fires, cozy lighting, Styrian specialties, and local handicrafts – everything needed to truly get into the holiday spirit.

- Advent in Talbach - famous christmas market with music from November 27th to December 20th from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
- Krampuslauf in Gröbming - on 28 November from 18:00, nearly 400 Krampus will march from Gröbming's main square.
