Mountain tours, aquapark and a bit of culture

Extendable trip to the region Schladming

Planai Bergbahn (Cabin lift)

Planai is the best location to spend a pleasant summer day out. From the top of Planai you can enjoy a wonderful panoramic view: the Enns valley lies beneath you – and at eye-level, the Dachstein glacier rises to greet you. Our youngest visitors can enjoy the playground adjoining the Schladminger Hütte.

Dachstein Glacier Lift – Skywalk:

The highest mountain in Styria offers natural scenery that is second to none. Gigantic rocks, a view over the Austrian mountain tops all the way to the Slovenian Triglav Mountains and perched around the mighty rock of the Dachstein glacier. The ride up already gives you an incredible with the new panoramic gondola. The Dachstein offers numerous attractions also for sports' enthusiasts: skiing, snowboarding, climbing, hiking, paragliding or cross-country skiing - at 2,700 meters (almost) everything is possible.

Ausztriahütte, Alpinmuseum:

Styria’s highest museum depicts the geological creation of the mighty Dachstein glacier with rock samples, fossils and research findings on display. Visitors can find out how the Dachstein was first conquered, learn about the history of mountain rescue and the construction of the Dachstein cable car. Special exhibition: 150 years of the Alpine Association.

Erlebnisbad Schladming:

The large swimming, sport and adventure complex promises a fun and exciting day for the entire family. While the kids slide down the waterslides, Mum and Dad can take time out to relax in one of our saunas. And the toddlers can enjoy in their own baby pool with heated water.

Schloss Trautenfels:

The natural and cultural history of Styria’s Enns Valley and Aussee regions form the core of the Schloss Trautenfels collection. Begun in the 1950s, it brings together zoological, geological and mineralogical items, folklore objects and archaeological finds from the region.

Admont – Library

The library of Admont Abbey is one of the largest all-embracing creations of the late European Baroque. The library holds some 70,000 volumes while the Abbey in total owns nearly 200,000 books.

+ 1 tip: Admont – Library Guided E-bike Adventure Tour

The tour starts at 09:00 at Ski-Willy and leads us via Gasthof Edelbrunn up to the majestic Hunerkogel. After the summit, we enjoy the descent to the Neustattalm before continuing to the Bachlalm. From there, we hit the road to Filzmoos to finally master the ascent to the Mandlberggut. The way back leads us over the Grahsteg back to Ski-Willy, where the tour ends in peace and quiet.
